difference

Whatever I said
Don’t hold me to it
It’s a village goat I sent packing

She packs hers, mud and water into forms
For desert fortification

Well, I know how much you like goats :-)
I was talking about the ancient practice of scapegoating--blaming the year's evil on the goat and sending it out of town.

I really don't know what it is that made you beg my pardon. You know how I feel. Poetry is poetry. Your's is wonderful. Did you insult my goats? I've looked at all your poetry and I don't know what you are referring to. Please enlighten me.

Oh! I think you and I were writing at the same time. How weird. I couldn't get my comment through. Finally yours came up and mine went through.
What a relief! One thing you don't know about me is I don't let misunderstandings lie. I'm a Sag, born in December and everthing has to be worked through.
You and I know that goats have a bad reputation. Some even think they're evil. I know the old "wife's tales".
Please don't give it a secomd thought. Just keep writing your poems.
